While I'm convinced I was born with a love of honeybees, I started tending my own hives in 2006. From there I grabbed the opportunity to get inside every hive I could to learn as much as possible as fast as possible. I've organized workshops with my mentors, taught workshops for high school and college classes, mentored friends, neighbors, and clients. I've been keeping bees in Northern California for 11 years.  In 2013 I traveled to the   Cheetah Conservation Fund in Africa to set up their first apiary. Also in 2013 I co-founded Nevada County Natural Beekeepers Association in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Currently I'm working as Apiary Manager for Kiss the Flower Honey Company. My beekeeping methods are all natural with the best interests of the honeybees at heart. My practices support growing strong honeybee genetics and do not include any chemical treatments. For the love of bees!
